In this session, participants will explore the Talk, Read, Talk, Write framework designed by Nancy Motley to maximize student academic talk and deepen understanding. This strategy builds in purposeful conversation before reading, after reading, and before writing. By encouraging students to talk through ideas, they are better able to process material, clarify thinking, and strengthen writing. Walk away with practical routines that support engagement, comprehension, and academic language development across all content areas.
