About me
Hi, I’m Sarah Garrity, I’ve been an educator for 35 years. For 25 years I’ve worked at all levels (K-12) as an Instructional Technology Coach in Newport News Public Schools. I am a staunch advocate for creativity in all people and am especially focused on student centered learning that allows students to create with the space to fail and try again. During the Covid Quarantine, I renovated a 1964 Shasta Airflyte travel trailer. Last summer my husband and I traveled in "Shelly the She Shasta" up the east coast to Prince Edward Island in Canada. I especially loved Bar Harbor, Maine and PEI! I’m excited to present at Innovate 2023 because I really enjoy sharing ideas with other folks!
