About me
I have been teaching since 2007. This current school year I have been selected as the Teacher of the Year representing Booker T. Washington Middle School. I have a passion to literally make history come alive and be relevant to students. Perspective is so important in understanding history and even human interactions. I truly believe that once you build rapport with students that the relationship comes next. The key to classroom management is consistency, clear communication, compassion. and community building. Lets talk more about getting to know our students and building those relationships that lead to success.
