Join me in exploring the exciting world of instructional technology! With a decade of experience in education and Newport News Public Schools, I currently serve as an Instructional Technology Coach. During my time as a classroom teacher, I had the pleasure of teaching Biology I, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Forensic Science, and Ecology, allowing me to bring the wonders of science to life for my students.
As a mentor to new teachers and student teachers, I wholeheartedly embrace STEM education across all curriculums. I am passionate about championing the significance of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in shaping the future, empowering educators to integrate through meaningful connections. My ultimate goal is to ensure that all students have equal access to captivating and authentic learning experiences that ignite their innovative spirits.
As a Canvas Certified Educator, I have honed my skills in utilizing the powerful learning management system to enhance educational outcomes. In my role as an Edpuzzle Coach, I empower educators to embrace interactive video learning as a transformative teaching tool. Additionally, as an Explore Learning Leader, I foster a spirit of exploration and discovery through captivating math and science simulations.
