Hi 👋 I'm Sara Sterling, a Coaching and Professional Learning Specialist in NNPS. I'm passionate about learning and love exploring innovative teaching strategies to help both educators and students thrive. My role allows me to support teachers through partnership and professional development, and I'm truly excited about every opportunity I have to positively impact the growth of our NNPS community.
This year I’m thrilled to team up with my colleagues, Tareva Lister and Heather Trueblood, to explore how student engagement—not discipline—can truly transform classroom behavior. In our session, participants will learn about levels of student engagement, uncover hidden participation barriers, and walk away with practical tools to meet students’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
